Phil
and Sharon Stead - Owners
Phil
- born in Tanzania from a family of Hoteliers. After being
educated in Guernsey, his "Hotel and Catering" degree
was taken in Scotland before returning to Africa to continue
in this trade. Phil's vast knowledge of hospitality, tourism
and fine cuisine comes from his many years experience with
major Hotel chains in Southern Africa.
Sharon

on her parents Game Farm north of Bulawayo. Her family created

prowess one will ever see or imagine. Sharon is currently
working on a book about her life's experiences in Africa.
Together
with their two children, Sharon and Phil live at Camp Amalinda.

Learning his culinary and hotelier expertise from Le Francais
and Leonardo’s Continental Restaurant before spending
2 years with Wild Geese Lodge as General Manager. His vast
knowledge of fine wine, dining and service comes with a
naturally relaxed charm that is so matched to the serenity
of Amalinda.
Priscilla - brings with her a wealth of experience in Banqueting
from Wild Geese Lodge. Creating those special wedding moments
every weekend for 2 years comes from being ultra organised
and efficient. We welcome her trained eye and co-ordinating
skills for those exceptional events we host at Amalinda.
Eklina

Eklina
has incredibly soothing, healing hands. You will meet Eklina
in front office, but it’s in the Safari Spa that you
will really get to know her professional side. Eklina has
been with Amalinda since 1999, and has developed her skills
through a keenness to learn from continual in-house training.
Her warm, calming nature is rarely seen now days…
